Candlewood Suites Bay City, an IHG Hotel

I had a great stay here! The GM was very friendly and genuine. The rooms were comfortable and the cleanliness was unmatched.

I stayed here about 16 weeks and it was great! The hotel has the best staff, Amanda and Jasmine were both so nice and helpful. The rooms are very nice with great kitchen. They have everything you could possibly need for any length of stay. I definitely recommend this hotel. I've stayed at a few different hotels in the area and this is, with out a doubt, the best one.

I have enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Although there's no pool, there's an amazing laundry facility that IS ALL FREE, ( which is a first for me) the "fitness facility" has been very clean and always available, the staff has also been amazing, attentive and very polite. Everything I've seen is new and CLEAN! I haven't experienced loud shutting doors or the sound of people walking. I'm a light sleeper, and I've slept through the night since we've been here. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any and everybody that is looking for an extended stay.

Staff is very nice. I was told it is under new management. That's good. The place needs some maintenance, as it is used extensively by people staying in the area to work the local refineries and STP. My room had a spot worn in the tub, where the finish was gone, counter had burn spots, and was loose, light in the ceiling was crooked in the bedroom, and you could see where place had been hastily painted. I travel a lot, and I would like to stay where I feel I am getting my money's worth. The place needs updating already

All of the staff is amazing!! They will do whatever they can to help.. I’ve been coming here since they opened up, and they have always been accommodating, and friendly. They recently purchased new inferred grills that are amazing. Thank you Amanda, Shae, Zac, Shayla, Jessica and Jillian, and all of the housekeeping staff, as well as the owners. I appreciate the family environment for myself, my family, and my crew. We wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else... Sincerely, Wayne Peterson and family, and crews.

My room was very clean and comfortable on arrival. Big room size. Nice bathroom size. The A/C works perfectly. The bed is cozy. Everything is nice about the hotel. The staff are kind and very helpful. I arrived later due to my flight being delayed but the front desk was very helpful with getting me checked in. I am very glad I chose to stay here.

This hotel is clean, which meets my standards. We spent two weeks there due to work. Everything in the room was functional. The shower could offer a better water pressure. The housekeeping service is outstanding, they don't only do the towel swapping like most hotels we have stayed; they go all the way from surface cleaning to mopping the floors. Even vacuum the suite if you have your pet accompanying you ;-) Good parking spots. The outdoor area is comfortable with grills and nice seating. No pool. The commercial/retail/groceries neighborhood is a short drive or a long walk distance. The pet area has a good space and it is clean. The entire staff we encountered were resourceful, kind and professional.
